Prayer for the End of the School Year

At the end of this school year we give thanks to God:
For all the teaching and learning that has taken place in our school,
both in and out of the classroom,
For the talents and gifts that have been shared
and the challenges that have been faced;
For the burdens that have been lifted and the hurts that have been healed;
For the respect and care that has been given.
We give thanks for the friendships that have just begun and for those that have grown.
For the faith that has been lived in our daily struggles,
For the hope that has lifted our hearts on the dark days
And for the love that has kept us going.
We give thanks for the community that we are,
and we ask you Lord - Bless our students;
may your Spirit inspire them with confidence and calmness
Bless our families as we take our holidays,
may our time together leave us with memories to cherish.
Pour out your love on us that we may return renewed and refreshed to continue our journey together.
We make this prayer through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

It has come to that time of the year where we not only say goodbye to our Year 6 class as they graduate but to all the families at St Kieran as we conclude 2022. In particular to the Year 6 class, you have been an amazing group of students and I know that you will do the best you can do and look back on your time at St Kieran as a wonderful time and something you will never forget. Take care and I do wish you all the very best.
To the families and staff members that will also conclude their time with us at St Kieran, we thank you all for being part of the this wonderful community -  The St Kieran Family, and we wish you all the very best as you journey into the future and we hope that you leave us with fond memories and  the best of luck.
This is a year that I am sure many of us will not be able to forget with our interrupted daily lives during the pandemic and the changes that constantly filled our days. When we take time to reflect on this year and the events that unfolded, I am extremely proud of the community, staff, students and parents for all that they have been through and continued to work through, as the year unfolded.
I wish to take this opportunity to thank everyone for another wonderful year at St Kieran Catholic Primary School. We are truly blessed to be involved in such an authentically faith driven community. Best wishes and may God bless you in all you do.

Have a wonderful Christmas, take care and stay safe.  I look forward to seeing you all in 2023!

Best wishes and kind regards.

St Kieran Staffing 2023

School Day and Times 2023

In 2023 we will need to adjust our school time in Pre-Primary to Year 6 by 5 minutes, which will occur at the start of the day, this also includes Kindy. We also need to reduce the time that staff are on duty in the afternoon by 10minutes to 3.20pm. We have worked with Servite College to ensure that St Kieran start and finish, before Servite's day starts and finishes, to account for traffic and drop off's.

Kindy - Doors will Open at 8.40am for Kindy and then open again for collection at 2.45pm.

3 Year Old Kindy times will remain the same - 9am to 2.15pm.

Before 8.25am – School Gates will Open at 8.10am. All children to sit in Undercover Area until 8.25am.
After 3.20pm – Students to be walked to school office where they can be collected by parents after 3.20pm

ACM Reports and Minutes

These are all located on the school website. All families are encouraged to refer to these to reflect on our activities during 2022 and for our school direction in 2023.
